Having fun using a cute outline envelope rubber stamp,  watercolor paper, water-base markers, other stamps from my stash.  I had no plan but to just play using the Art Impressions watercolor technique.   I liked what I came up with so I thought I would make them into cards. Baby Girl Cards

Image
I need to get going on some baby cards and with limited supplies in my stash of solid colored card stock.  I had to do some creative thinking.  I really like the way these baby girl cards came out.    I have stamped all my stamps out onto paper and added them into binder.  This helps a lot going through the binder to see what I have and what I can use from other stamp sets.  I will show and list of most of the products used at the end of the post.  I did not have the right pink cards stock to cut out the banner.  It is hard ordering the right color card stock on line.  There are so many different shades of pinks, lavenders and so on.  I took my ink pad and ran it across a strip of white card stock.  Let the ink to dry before I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a banner die, not bad.  I think I will try to do that more often.  I used an embossing folder to add some extra texture to the card.  It was just too blank leaving the card base plain.

Garden Cards To Share

Image
It has been a very long while since I have posted any new cards.  But I have been busy doing much needed re-organization in my craft closet.  By doing that, I reintroduced myself to some good old papers, stamps, dies, embellishments and ephemera.  So I hope these may inspire you to make  some paper projects using some of your older supplies.

Brushed Blooms Stamp Set

Mother's Day projects

The cards were very easy to make and the inspiration came from Pinterest.  The lace stamp is from a clear set (2011) by Pink Paislee, "Butterfly garden.  Hero Arts inks  Pale Tomato, Soft blossom and Tide Pool, favorites of mine.  The sentiment and butterfly are also from Hero Arts. These boxes were made using a Sizzix large die by Eileen Hull called "flower pocket".  Stamped the inside of the boxes and covered them using  Pink Paislees clear set stamp  collection called "butterfly garden, 2011.  Filled with tea packets and box of mints or  tea packets and beautiful packaged soap. I love the way they came out.  A perfect Mother's Day gift or for any other occasion.
