Baby Girl Cards

Image
I need to get going on some baby cards and with limited supplies in my stash of solid colored card stock.  I had to do some creative thinking.  I really like the way these baby girl cards came out.    I have stamped all my stamps out onto paper and added them into binder.  This helps a lot going through the binder to see what I have and what I can use from other stamp sets.  I will show and list of most of the products used at the end of the post.  I did not have the right pink cards stock to cut out the banner.  It is hard ordering the right color card stock on line.  There are so many different shades of pinks, lavenders and so on.  I took my ink pad and ran it across a strip of white card stock.  Let the ink to dry before I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a banner die, not bad.  I think I will try to do that more often.  I used an embossing folder to add some extra texture to the car...

Hot Air Ballon Cards

My challenge was to use this old Studio-G dollar stamp. I have this clear stamp for a very long time and I wanted to see how many ways to use it in my latest round of card making for masculine birthday cards. I had a little difficultly at first.  With some Pinterest and YouTube inspiration here is what I cam up with.  I went through my stamps to see what other sentiments and images that would go well with the hot air ballon stamp.   I did stamp out the hot air balloon on different papers along with ink colors to see what I thought look good. With some help from Pinterest for color combinations. All the stamped sentiments on the above cards came from different clear set by Papertrey Ink. I stamped the hot air ballon stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Rangers white embossing powder. I took a very old template by All Night Media to create the clouds using a blending tool.  Supplies used: Bazzill card-stock in "candy ...
