Having fun using a cute outline envelope rubber stamp, watercolor paper, water-base markers, other stamps from my stash. I had no plan but to just play using the Art Impressions watercolor technique. I liked what I came up with so I thought I would make them into cards. Envelope Stamp - Stamp Tramp M.J. Barber 2004. You can use any outlined envelope image. My card entry for TAKE TEN magazine "we challenge you". The challenge is following a basic card layout but also making sure that the card can be recreated in 10 minuets or less. I love Stampington & Company publications. They have beautiful magazines full of inspiration and challenges for all kinds of creative individuals. You can find most of their publications at Barnes & Noble, Jo-ann's, Micheal's and other craft stores. The cards were very easy to make and the inspiration came from Pinterest. The lace stamp is from a clear set (2011) by Pink Paislee, "Butterfly garden. Hero Arts inks Pale Tomato, Soft blossom and Tide Pool, favorites of mine. The sentiment and butterfly are also from Hero Arts. These boxes were made using a Sizzix large die by Eileen Hull called "flower pocket". Stamped the inside of the boxes and covered them using Pink Paislees clear set stamp collection called "butterfly garden, 2011. Filled with tea packets and box of mints or tea packets and beautiful packaged soap. I love the way they came out. A perfect Mother's Day gift or for any other occasion.
